Trigun takes place in the distant future on a deserted planet. Vash the Stampede is a gunfighter with a legend so ruthless that he has a $$60,000,000,000 bounty on his head. Entire towns evacuate at the rumor of his arrival. However, the real Vash the Stampede is not the same man that rumor portrays him to be. The enigmatic and conflicted lead character in Trigun is actually more heroic in nature; as well as a complete and utter idiot at times. This show caught my eye on Cartoon Network's Adult Swin late night block. I like the Old Western scenery mixed with hi-tech things. The characters are a bit simple-minded but still touched my soul. I felt connected to message of peace and life this show contains. Don't let the violence or anime stereotypes fool you, this show is everyone's choice to lead their own life and develop morals. Vash and Knives are the Ying and Yang of evil and good. There's much to be learned from their feelings and attitudes. I'd take a close look at the minds of these characters and also enjoy the humor this series tries to lighten the mood (sometimes saddening) with. Trigun is both positive and gripping. I came across it on night and was hooked from then on. Vash is something that is in all of us a feeling to do what one believes is right. The outfit is above cool, and his super secert arm took me by surprise. If you haven't seen this anime then you should take the time to do so., Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson are the coolest females they help keep each other balanced. The plot was very well played, thats the work of pros. I'm 31(kid at heart) and appreciate good anime both art and story line. Such as Robotect, Tench, the old school Transformers.If you enjoy good anime then you can see the quotes between the story, morals. Any way I have to go I'm going to go out any get the set on DVD.
